The company behind Veneti

Veneti is provided by Lemon Technologies ApS, CVR 46667522, Søllerødgårdsvej 33B, 2840 Holte, Denmark. The product is called Veneti; the company behind it is called Lemon Technologies ApS, and that is the name you see on the invoice and in the terms of service.

Veneti is built for Danish businesses: a Danish chart of accounts and VAT codes from day one, the VAT return laid out by the Danish Tax Agency's boxes, the annual report in the Danish Business Authority's standard chart of accounts, e-invoicing through NemHandel and Peppol, and the bank through MitID. The application is available in Danish and English.

How Veneti works

The journal is the workplace. Everything to be booked lands in the journal: the bank's lines, the receipts from your email, the supplier invoices, the customer invoices and the general journal entries you type yourself. Master data fills in the lines, chart of accounts, VAT codes, customers, suppliers and products; the chart of accounts and VAT codes are set up from the moment the company is created.

Veneti proposes, you decide. Every line gets a suggested account and VAT code with the reasoning beside it, based on your chart of accounts and what you have booked before. When in doubt, Veneti asks you, with the possible answers ready for one click. Read more under banking and coding.

Booked is locked. You review the suggestions, correct what needs correcting and press Book. The entries are then locked; an error is corrected with a reversal, never by changing what has been booked.

The reports feed back. Income statement, balance sheet, VAT and monthly report are calculated from the bookkeeping, and every figure opens to the entries it is made of. What you see in the reports is what you use to adjust master data and routines, so next month runs more smoothly. Luca is alongside on every screen: Luca is an AI assistant built into your accounts, explains the figures and acts only when you approve. Read more about Luca.

Who is it for?

Veneti is for Danish businesses – ApS, A/S and sole traders – that want to manage their own bookkeeping, invoices and VAT without spending their days on it. The service is offered for business use.

You can have several companies under one user account, so the holding company and the operating company sit side by side, and you can invite colleagues and your accountant with roles as a User or with Read access. Bookkeepers have all their clients' companies under one user account. See what Veneti does for your kind of business, and the pricing of the four plans.

How to get help

Email support@veneti.dk. It is the same address you write to when you want to move your bookkeeping from e-conomic, Dinero, Billy or a similar application: give us access to the old application, and we move all your bookkeeping free of charge within 48 hours, reconciled to the last øre.

In the application, Luca is always at hand. Ask your question as you would say it, and Luca answers from your figures – what you spent on software in August, or what a customer owes.

Where your data lives

The database and file storage run in the EU at Supabase on Amazon Web Services' infrastructure in Stockholm. Data is transferred encrypted, and access is limited by role and company: every company is its own, and nothing crosses between them. Some of our suppliers are subject to US law; they are named in the privacy policy.

Your sign-in can be protected with two-factor authentication from an authenticator app on your phone, and booked entries cannot be changed. The data is yours: at any time you can download the bookkeeping as SAF-T and CSV and all documents as ZIP files with an index and a SHA-256 checksum for every file, free of charge. If you pause your bookkeeping, we keep your data for 6 months, so you have time to take it elsewhere. See data export.

Terms and documents

Three documents describe the agreement and how your information is handled, and they are open on the site:

  • Terms of service: price, payment, cancellation, switching provider and handing over data.
  • Privacy policy: which information we process, who our suppliers are and where they process it.
  • Data processing agreement: how we process the personal data in your accounts, on your instruction.
