A bookkeeper's day with many clients

Ten clients are ten banks, ten charts of accounts, ten VAT periods and ten emails full of receipts. What takes time is rarely the hard part: it is getting every bank line onto the right account, finding the document for it and remembering how far you got with each client.

Accounting software for bookkeepers therefore has to do three things: code before you arrive, gather the documents itself and let you change client without signing out.

Coded before you open the journal

Each client's bank is imported every day through open banking, and every line lands in the journal with a suggested account and VAT code based on the client's chart of accounts and what has been booked before. The reasoning sits beside the line, so you can see why, and where there is doubt the suggestions are ready for one click. You review, correct what needs correcting and book. See banking and coding.

Receipts and supplier invoices arrive by themselves: the client forwards them to the company's own addresses or connects Gmail or Outlook, and e-invoices arrive through Peppol and NemHandel. The receipt is attached to its bank line, the supplier invoice is read, and both are waiting for you in the journal.

Booked is locked. A correction is a reversal, so the auditor can follow the trail, and the bank is reconciled with the books every day.

All your clients under one user account

The client invites you by email, as Bookkeeper, Administrator or with Read access, and the company appears under your user account beside the others. You switch between clients without signing out, and every company has its own bank, chart of accounts, plan and users. Read about multiple companies and roles.

For each client, the VAT return is calculated for the period field by field after the Danish Tax Agency's boxes, and every figure opens to the entries behind it. The income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, sales by customer and product, debtors and creditors are ready as soon as entries are booked, and every figure unfolds to its entries.

When a client needs a report in hand, the monthly report is ready as PDF, PowerPoint or Excel on Pro+ and Max. And ask Luca when a client calls: "What did we spend on software in August?" is answered from the client's own figures.

Which plan fits your clients

The plan belongs to each company, not to you. A holding company with few entries sits on Free with 5 vouchers per month, an ordinary operating business on Pro with 100 vouchers per month at 229 kr. per month excl. VAT, and a client who wants the monthly report as PDF, PowerPoint or Excel on Pro+ at 249 kr. Max has 500 vouchers per month at 499 kr.

The vouchers are pooled over the financial year, so a busy month evens out with a quiet one. There is no commitment, and the plan can be changed at any time.

Move your clients from e-conomic, Dinero or Billy

Each client can be moved on its own: give us access to the old system, and we move all the bookkeeping free of charge within 48 hours, reconciled to the last øre. Migrated history does not count towards the plan's vouchers. If you prefer to do it yourself, upload the export and Luca sets up balances, customers and suppliers together with you. The bank takes over from the day the client switches.

Get started with the first client, and bring the rest over as it suits.

Questions

Do I need a user account per client?

No. You have one user account, and each client invites you into their company with the role you need. All your clients' companies sit side by side, and you switch without signing out.

Who owns the client's accounts?

The client. A company has one owner, and the data, documents and exports are the company's. You work in it with the role you were invited with, and the client can always download everything as SAF-T, CSV and documents as a ZIP file.

Can I just view a client's accounts?

Yes. With Read access you see the accounts without being able to change them. If you need to post, the client invites you as Bookkeeper or Administrator instead.

How do I move a client from e-conomic?

Give us access to the client's e-conomic, and we move all the bookkeeping free of charge within 48 hours, reconciled to the last øre. Migrated history does not count towards the plan's vouchers, and the bank takes over from the day the client switches.
