What counts as a voucher?

The plans are measured in vouchers, because booking is the work. A voucher is one booked entry with its own number: a bank line with its receipt, a supplier invoice, a customer invoice or a general journal entry you typed yourself. It counts only when you press Book; what sits in the journal does not count.

Coding is not limited on any plan. Veneti codes every bank line, every receipt and every supplier invoice, however many arrive. It is the number of booked vouchers the plan sets the limit on.

• A reversal does not count. It corrects a booked voucher with a new one.
• History we move from your old application does not count towards the plan.
• A customer invoice counts from the moment it is sent, because it is booked once sent.
• A voucher counts in the financial year it is booked in, not by the date on the voucher.

The pool follows the financial year

The figure on the plan is a monthly rate, but what is counted is the whole financial year. Free gives 5 vouchers per month, and in a twelve-month financial year that is 60 vouchers to use as you like: 20 in January and none in February, if that suits you. If your first financial year is shorter, the pool is the number of months times the rate.

A holding company with few entries a year typically fits Free, and a new business can begin there and change plan as the bookkeeping grows.

What every plan includes

The plans differ in the number of vouchers and in whether the monthly report and Excel model are included. Everything that makes Veneti Veneti is in all four:

• Bank connection with daily imports and automatic coding

The monthly report and Excel model are included in Pro+ and Max, so the report can go on to investors or other stakeholders as PDF, PowerPoint or Excel. On Free you can also send 20 invoices a day; on the paid plans there is no limit on sends or on questions to Luca.

How to change plan

Owners and administrators change plan under Subscription in the company's settings. A change to a larger plan applies at once; the difference for the rest of the current period is charged pro rata, and you confirm it in the customer portal. A change to a smaller plan also applies at once, but the rest of the paid period is not refunded, so move down when the period is about to end anyway.

If you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. You can also go back to Free. If you stop altogether, you can still sign in, view the accounts and download the bookkeeping as SAF-T and CSV plus all documents as ZIP files, free of charge. Read more under data export.

When the pool is used up

When the financial year's vouchers are used up, nothing happens to your data. New vouchers stay as drafts in the journal, coded and with the receipts attached, and Veneti shows how many vouchers have been used. They can be booked in the next financial year, or at once on a larger plan.

A customer invoice cannot be sent before it can be booked, so it waits with the other drafts. Subscription invoices are not skipped: they are held back and issued automatically once there is room again. Nothing is deleted, and nothing is booked unless you chose it.

Payment through Stripe and the customer portal

Paid plans are paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link through Stripe, one month at a time and in advance. The card is entered at Stripe; Veneti does not store the full card number. The price, the VAT and the total are shown before you order, and every invoice documents what the company pays.

Free is chosen through Stripe too, just without a card. Owners and administrators open the customer portal from Subscription in the company's settings to see invoices, update payment details and cancel. The invoices from Veneti are also collected in the app. All of it is in the terms of service.
