Accounting software for an ApS

An ApS has to keep its books continuously, report VAT and file an annual report. Veneti does the preparation: the bank is coded, the invoices are read, the VAT is calculated, and the year's figures are ready in the Danish Business Authority's standard chart of accounts. You have the final say before anything is booked.

  • The bank is coded automatically, you approve
  • Supplier invoices are read and ready for payment
  • The VAT return after the Danish Tax Agency's boxes
  • Annual report figures in the standard chart of accounts

What an ApS has to keep in order

A private limited company is a legal entity of its own with its own finances. That means continuous bookkeeping of everything that goes in and out of the company's bank, a VAT return for every period and an annual report that has to be filed with the Danish Business Authority. Booked entries must be documented with vouchers, and corrections must be traceable.

Most ApS companies have the same flows: customer invoices out, supplier invoices in, card purchases, recurring subscriptions and a bank that has to reconcile. Accounting software for an ApS has to keep those flows together, so the accountant gets a finished basis instead of a box of receipts.

Everything lands in the journal, coded

You connect the bank once through open banking with MitID. Every transaction lands as a line in the journal with a suggested account and VAT code and the reasoning, and Veneti compares the bank balance with the books every day. See banking and coding.

Supplier invoices arrive as e-invoices through Peppol and NemHandel or by email to the company's own invoice address. The supplier, amount, due date and account details are read automatically, the invoice gets its account suggestion, and it is ready to book and to pay in the bank. The payment arrives with the bank's transactions and is settled against the invoice with Settle.

You create customer invoices in seconds and send them as a PDF or an e-invoice. The payment is matched against the invoice automatically, so the debtor list is always up to date.

When you have reviewed the suggestions, you press Book. Booked entries cannot be changed; an error is corrected with a reversal, so the trail stays intact.

VAT and the annual report without detours

The VAT return is calculated for the period you choose, field by field after the Danish Tax Agency's boxes, and every figure opens to the entries it is made of, so you can check before you file.

Annual report shows the financial year's booked figures in the Danish Business Authority's standard chart of accounts and gives you the file you upload in Regnskab Basis. Invite your accountant with Read access, and the bookkeeping can always be downloaded as SAF-T and CSV with all documents as a ZIP file.

The income statement, balance sheet and cash flows update as you post, and every figure opens to the entries behind it. Ask Luca if you want the development explained.

Which plan fits an ApS

Most ApS companies fit Pro: 100 vouchers per month, pooled over the financial year, at 229 kr. per month excl. VAT, with bank integration, automatic coding, customer invoices, e-invoicing and the VAT return.

If management, the board, the bank or investors need a monthly report as PDF, PowerPoint or Excel, choose Pro+ at 249 kr. If the company books more than 100 vouchers a month, Max with 500 vouchers per month at 499 kr. is the plan. All prices apply per company with no commitment.

Get started, or switch from your current system

  1. Create the company

Find it by name or CVR number, and choose a plan. The chart of accounts, VAT codes, invoice address and customer invoice are ready from the start.

  2. Connect the bank, and share the invoice address

Sign in with MitID, and choose the account and the start date. Give your suppliers the company's own invoice address, so invoices arrive by themselves.

  3. Invite your accountant and colleagues

By email, as a User or with Read access. Promote a user to Administrator when needed.

If the company comes from e-conomic, Dinero, Billy or similar, we move all the bookkeeping free of charge within 48 hours, reconciled to the last øre, and the bank takes over from the day you switch. If you prefer to do it yourself, upload the export and Luca sets up balances, customers and suppliers together with you. Get started.

Questions

Can my accountant work directly in Veneti?

Yes. Invite your accountant by email as a User if they will be posting, or with Read access if they only need to view the accounts. The bookkeeping can also be downloaded as SAF-T and CSV with all documents as a ZIP file.

What happens if I have booked something wrong?

Booked entries cannot be changed. You correct with a reversal, which cancels the entry, and book the right one. The trail stays intact, and your accountant can follow the correction.

Does Veneti file the annual report for me?

No. Annual report shows the financial year's booked figures in the Danish Business Authority's standard chart of accounts and gives you the file you upload in Regnskab Basis at the Danish Business Authority. The filing itself happens there.

Can several of us share the bookkeeping?

Yes. Invite colleagues by email as a User, Administrator or with Read access. Each gets exactly the access the role gives, and every sign-in can be protected with two-factor authentication.
