What you book as a sole trader
A sole trader books the same things as a company, just on a smaller scale: the sales invoices, the purchases, the card receipts, the software and phone subscriptions, and the VAT. The profit is your own, and you need to know it when your personal tax return is due.
The Danish Bookkeeping Act applies to sole traders too: every purchase and sale needs a voucher, and the bookkeeping must be documented. You do not file an annual report with the Danish Business Authority, but if you are VAT registered, the VAT must be reported to the Danish Tax Agency for every period. See documents and the Bookkeeping Act.
The invoice is sent in seconds
Create the customer invoice with the customer, the lines and the payment terms, and send it as a PDF by email or as an e-invoice through Peppol and NemHandel. The invoice number is assigned automatically, credit notes run in the same number sequence, and a customer abroad can be invoiced in foreign currency at the Danish central bank's daily rate.
When the payment arrives in the bank, Veneti matches it against the invoice, so you can always see who still owes you and send a reminder when it is time.
Receipts and the bank take care of themselves
Sign in with MitID in your online bank, personal or business, and choose the account you use for the business and the date to import from. Transactions then arrive every day and land in the journal with a suggested account and VAT code. The reasoning sits beside the line, and you book once you have looked it through.
Forward the receipt from the builders' merchant, the petrol station or the web shop to the company's own receipt address, or connect your Gmail or Outlook so Veneti fetches them itself. Every receipt is matched with the bank line it belongs to, and the document stays with the entry.
The VAT comes out in the VAT return: Veneti calculates it for the period field by field after the Danish Tax Agency's boxes, and behind every figure you see the entries it is made of.
Which plan fits a sole trader
Start on Free: 0 kr., no payment details, 5 vouchers per month pooled over the financial year and 20 invoice deliveries a day. That is enough for a side business or the first year.
If the business is your living, Pro with 100 vouchers per month at 229 kr. per month excl. VAT fits most people. If you want the monthly report as PDF, PowerPoint or Excel, for the bank for example, that is Pro+ at 249 kr. There is no commitment, and you change plan as your needs change.

Questions
Can I use my personal bank account?
Yes. You sign in with MitID in your personal or your business online bank and choose the account to import transactions from. Every line on the account comes in, so choose the account you use for the business.
Do I have to file an annual report as a sole trader?
No, a sole trader does not file an annual report with the Danish Business Authority. You still have to keep the books, report VAT for every period and know the year's profit, and that is in the income statement as soon as you have booked.
What do I do with a receipt I only have on paper?
Scan or photograph it, and send the file to the company's own receipt address, or upload it in Veneti. The receipt is matched with the bank line it belongs to.
What does it cost as the business grows?
Pro costs 229 kr. per month excl. VAT with 100 vouchers per month, Pro+ 249 kr. with the monthly report and Excel model, and Max 499 kr. with 500 vouchers per month. You change plan at any time, and there is no commitment.
