For you

Accounting software for tradespeople and service businesses

A tradesperson has many vouchers and little time at the desk. Veneti reads the supplier invoices, attaches the receipts to their bank lines, invoices the service agreements by itself and codes the bank, so what is left for you is to approve.

  • Supplier invoices are read and ready to pay
  • Receipts from your email find their own bank line
  • Service agreements are invoiced automatically
  • The van and the machines in the asset register

Many vouchers, little desk time

Materials from the wholesaler, a card purchase at the builders' merchant, diesel for the van, subcontractors, tools and insurance: a trades business gets vouchers every single day, and they come by email, on paper and as e-invoices. On top of that, customers have to be invoiced, service agreements run and VAT reported for every period.

Accounting software for tradespeople has to receive the vouchers itself and get them ready, so desk time goes to approving, not typing.

The supplier invoice arrives by itself, ready to pay

Give the wholesaler and your subcontractors the company's own invoice address, or let them send e-invoices through Peppol and NemHandel. Veneti reads the supplier, amount and due date, finds the supplier and suggests an account and VAT code, so the supplier invoice is ready to book and to pay in the bank, with the supplier's account details beside the line. When the payment arrives with the bank's transactions, you settle it against the invoice with Settle.

Card receipts you forward to the company's own receipt address, or you connect Gmail or Outlook. Every receipt finds the bank line it belongs to, and the document stays with the entry, so the documentation is in place when the accountant asks.

The bank is imported every day through open banking, and every line is coded with its reasoning. You review and press Book.

Service agreements that invoice themselves

You create the customer invoice in seconds after the job and send it as a PDF by email or as an e-invoice, to a municipality for example. Service agreements you set up as subscriptions: the invoice is issued, sent and booked automatically every month, and when the customer pays, the payment is matched against the invoice. Under Receivables you see who still owes you.

When you buy a van or a machine, switch on Asset on the invoice and enter the lifetime. It is then in the asset register under Assets, and the depreciations are drafted into the journal every month, ready to book. The feature is switched on under Settings and Features.

Which plan fits a trades business

Count the vouchers: every supplier invoice, customer invoice and bank line you book is one voucher. A smaller business with up to 100 vouchers a month fits Pro at 229 kr. per month excl. VAT; the vouchers are pooled over the financial year, so a busy month evens out with a quiet one. If you have several vans, more people and more than 100 vouchers a month, Max with 500 vouchers per month at 499 kr. is the plan.

If you want the monthly report as PDF, PowerPoint or Excel for the bank, that is Pro+ at 249 kr. See all prices; they apply per company with no commitment.

Questions

Can the wholesaler send the invoice straight to Veneti?

Yes. Give the supplier the company's own invoice address, or let them send e-invoices through Peppol and NemHandel. The supplier, amount and due date are read automatically, and the invoice is ready in the journal.

How do I pay the supplier invoice?

In the bank. The supplier, amount, due date and account details are read and shown with the invoice in the journal, so you have everything you need when you pay in your online bank. The payment arrives with the bank's transactions and is settled against the invoice with Settle.

What do I do about the van and the machines?

Switch on Asset on the invoice, and enter the lifetime. The asset is in the asset register, and the depreciations are drafted into the journal every month. The feature is switched on under Settings and Features.

How many vouchers is 100 a month?

Every voucher you book counts once: a supplier invoice, a customer invoice or a bank line. The 100 are pooled over the financial year, so 1,200 vouchers in a twelve-month year can fall as the work does.
