What you need in order from the start
Once the business is registered, the duty to keep books begins: every sale and every purchase needs a voucher, has to be booked continuously and must be documented. If you are VAT registered, the VAT must be reported to the Danish Tax Agency for every period, and a company has to file an annual report with the Danish Business Authority.
It sounds like a lot, but it is four things: a bank that reconciles, invoices out, documents in and a VAT return when the period ends. Start with bookkeeping for beginners if the words are new.
Ready from the first sign-in
Find the company by name or CVR number, and the master data comes from the CVR register. The chart of accounts is a Danish standard chart with VAT codes in place, you have your own address for receipts and one for invoices, and the customer invoice is ready for the first customer. Customers and suppliers are looked up in the CVR register when you create them, and you can add your own accounts as the need arises.
Connect the bank through open banking: sign in with MitID in your online bank, personal or business, and choose the account and the date to import from. Transactions then arrive every day and land in the journal with a suggested account and VAT code and the reasoning beside the line. See banking and coding.
You press Book. Nothing is booked without your approval, so you get to know the chart of accounts at your own pace.
Ask Luca whenever you are unsure
Luca is an AI assistant built into your accounting application. Ask the question as you would say it: what is the difference between output and input VAT, where do the formation costs go, what have I spent on software in August. Luca answers from your own figures, explains, and only acts when you approve. Read more about Luca.
When you want to know how it is going, open the income statement: the figures update as you post, and every figure opens to the entries behind it.
Which plan fits a new business
Start on Free: 0 kr. and no payment details. The plan has bank integration, automatic coding, customer invoices and the VAT return, 5 vouchers per month pooled over the financial year, 20 invoice deliveries a day and 20 questions to Luca a day.
When sales pick up, you change to Pro with 100 vouchers per month at 229 kr. per month excl. VAT. There is no commitment, and you change plan when it suits you.

Questions
I have never kept books before. Can I manage?
Yes. The preparation is done: the bank is coded with the reasoning beside every line, receipts find their own bank line, and Luca explains when you ask. You approve and book.
Do I have to pay anything to start?
No. Free costs 0 kr. and requires no payment details. You only pay when you choose a larger plan, and there is no commitment.
What is a voucher, and how many do I have?
A voucher is the documentation behind an entry: an invoice, a receipt or a bank line. Every voucher you book counts once in the plan, and the 5 a month are pooled over the financial year.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, at any time. Moving to a cheaper plan takes effect immediately, and if you cancel, the plan remains active until the end of the period you paid for.
Your perfect accounts are waiting.
Create an account, choose a plan and connect your bank. The rest happens automatically.
