NemHandel

NemHandel is the Danish network for e-invoices. It is the route an invoice to a municipality, a region or the state has to take, and it is open to companies trading with each other. A company is on NemHandel when it is registered as a receiver on its CVR number.

What is NemHandel?

On NemHandel the documents are sent in the OIOUBL format, the Danish version of the international UBL standard. The sender sends through an access point, which looks the receiver up in NemHandel's register by CVR number or GLN number and delivers the invoice to the receiver's own access point. The receiver can answer with a response saying whether the invoice has been received and accepted.

Example: a consultant invoices a municipality. The municipality does not receive PDFs, so the consultant's accounting system sends the invoice as OIOUBL through NemHandel to the municipality's CVR number, and the invoice lands directly in the municipality's finance system.

NemHandel in Veneti

In Veneti the owner or an administrator activates the company as a receiver under Integrations, and it is registered on its CVR number on NemHandel. From then on customer invoices to public and private customers are sent as e-invoices, and supplier invoices arriving the same way land in the journal with supplier, amount and due date read. When you book a received invoice, the supplier is told that it has been accepted.

The company is registered as a receiver on both NemHandel and Peppol, so it can be reached from either network. Step by step: Guide to e-invoicing, NemHandel and Peppol.
